Who we are
BoiseADU.com is a small, Idaho-based team built around a single product: well-built accessory dwelling units in Boise and the Treasure Valley. We’re designers, project managers, and licensed builders who chose to specialize because ADUs reward focus — every plan, every setback rule, every utility quirk in a Boise zone gets better when you do it again and again.
We work on detached ADUs, garage conversions, attached ADUs, and the city’s six pre-approved studio, one-bedroom, two-bedroom, and dwelling-plus-garage plans. Most of our clients are Boise homeowners building for rental income, multigenerational living, or a long-term guest suite — and most are weighing whether a pre-approved plan or a custom design is the right call for their lot. We’ll tell you straight.
We operate as a build partner rather than a salesperson. The first call is free, the estimate is real, and we walk off the project if your lot, budget, or zoning doesn’t support an ADU we’d be proud to put our name on.
BoiseADU.com is the ADU-focused brand of Iron Crest Remodel, a licensed Idaho residential contractor based in the Treasure Valley. Iron Crest carries the contractor license, holds the insurance, and runs every job site — the BoiseADU.com brand exists to make the ADU side of their work easier for homeowners to find, evaluate, and price.

Boise published six pre-approved ADU plans in 2023 — Goldfinch, Waxwing, Kingfisher, Kestrel, Sandpiper, Osprey — that skip 4-8 weeks of design review at the planning office. We start every conversation by checking whether one of them fits your lot before pricing a custom path.
You sign a fixed-price contract before permits are filed, not a cost-plus arrangement. We walk you through the numbers in plain language and flag the one or two line items where the range is real (utility tie-ins, soils) so the surprises stay small.
